ISCHEBECK BRIDGING BEAMS

Increased bending stiffness resulting in higher load-carrying capacity

The Ischebeck aluminum bridging beam consists of two or more 225 aluminum stringer beams stacked on top of each other and connected with our friction clamp. This increases the bending stiffness on the composite beam and results in higher load-carrying capacity.

Bridging Beam & Clamp

Whether as primary or secondary beams in-floor slab formwork, as additional beams in scaffolds or as bridging beams for high loads, aluminum formwork bridging beams are the best choice every time.

  • high-strength aluminum
  • high loadbearing capacity for low self-weight
  • robust and unaffected by the weather
  • lengths to suit the needs of contractors

Combine aluminum bridging beams with friction clamps as required. The shear-resistant connection of a stack of two or three beams results in a bridging beam with a higher load-carrying capacity.

The bridging beam represents an alternative to a steel beam, but with a weight of only approx. 22 kg/m (Type 2) or 36 kg/m (Type 3) is considerably lighter.

Furthermore, when access is difficult, bridging beams can even be dismantled into their individual lightweight aluminum parts for easy removal.
